Delayed Oculus Quest 2 Accessories Finally Hit The Market

A number of official accessories for the Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headset can finally be purchased in the United States and abroad as of today. “Finally,” because the said accessories have suffered minor delays in recent weeks. Even the Oculus Quest 2, itself, has been available to buy for nearly a full month by now.

Usually, you see this type of accessories released alongside the main attraction or sometimes even beforehand. For example, most of the first-party PS5 accessories were released in the U.S. over the course of the last few days, even though the console itself is only set to arrive on the 11th of November. Not to mention that Oculus has been accepting pre-orders of these accessories since announcing the actual headset back in September.

But after this unfortunate test of consumer patience, the silicon cover, VR cover, and lens cover for the Oculus Quest 2 are finally available for purchase. And by that, we actually mean unavailable, at least when it comes to the $14 silicone cover and the $19 VR cover, both of which are already labeled as sold out on Oculus’s official website. That leaves you with the $9 lens cover, unless you’re willing to wait for Facebook’s subsidiary to restock its inventory.
