Check Out This Kickstarter: AUGMENT – The Modular Charging Solution For iPhone

Here’s a preview of a project, which is currently on Kickstarter, that we’ll be reviewing very soon.

The problem with battery cases for the iPhone is you end lugging around this big, bulky case in the event that you happen to need the battery built inside it.  When you don’t you’re still using a large case and even when it comes time to turn the battery inside the case on you’re left using the case too.  Even more troublesome is after you’ve used up the battery inside the case and you’re still left using it as well.  Been there, done that.

The AUGMENT Case is different.

For starters the case itself looks like it’s super cool.  Modern and sleek and not like any other iPhone case I’ve seen to date.  If that wasn’t enough what makes the AUGMENT so unique is the ability to tack on an extra battery pack.  The 1200 mAh batteries click into the bottom of the case and lock into place.  This gives you the ability to charge your phone an additional 60% and it only takes an hour to do so.  When charging is complete you can unhook the battery and go back to using your phone inside the cool, protective case alone.  Or if you need to you’re free to use your phone with the battery installed and charging as well.

The AUGMENT case is currently in need of backers over on Kickstarter.  You can check out the page here.  Be on the lookout for a full review of the case very soon.
