Review: BlueLounge Mika Aluminum Stand for Tablets and Laptop from CaseMotions.com

If you haven’t checked out the web site of our sponsor CaseMotions.com yet – you should! Many of the super cool brands I’ve reviewed here on Run Around Tech, such as Element Case, Esoterism, OtterBox and more are sold through CaseMotions. In this review we’ll take a look at the Mika Aluminum Stand for Tablets and Laptops from BlueLounge. What’s very cool aout the Mika Stand is that unlike other stands we’ve reviewed, which work with only once device, the Mika works with almost anything from an iPad Mini all the way up to a MacBook Pro.  Sounds like the Mika stand is the one stand that handles them all.  Is it?  You’ll have to check out my full review to find out.

Read on through for my full review and be sure to check out the video at the end for a more up close and personal look at the Mika Stand.

Inside the packaging you’ll find just the stand.  No other extras come along with it.

Here’s what CaseMotions has to say about the BlueLounge Mika Aluminium Stand for Tablets and Laptop.

Mika is the quintessential stand, perfectly proportioned for all tablets. A truly universal concept, Mika is compatible with devices ranging from the Nexus 7 to the iPad and even the MacBook Air or Retina MacBook Pro.

Mika integrates seamlessly into your desktop. It provides the perfect resting place for your tablet or laptop, keeping your workspace neat and tidy and ready for whatever the day holds.

Mika goes far beyond tablets. Use it to support your Macbook and Mika becomes the ultimate laptop stand. Mika has been designed to hold your tablet at an ergonomic angle, allowing you to access applications, surf the web, watch videos or read with ease.

Features:

  • New Aluminium Finish
  • Perfectly proportioned for all tablets
  • Laptop Stand for Macbook Pro & Macbook Air
  • COmfortable Angle

The Mika Stand is made from a solid aluminum frame and it features protective edges at both the top and the bottom.  These edges serve not only to keep your device in place but also won’t harm or scratch your tablet or computer in any way.

The bottom of the Mika stand also features a protective coating so that the stand stays put when it use and doesn’t harm whatever surface you choose to place it down onto.

The beauty of the Mika Stand lies in its ability to work with multiple devices.  You can use it as a stand for your iPad.  When doing so the iPad remains fully functional.

In addition to the landscape position you can also prop up your tablet device in portrait as well.  You’re free to use the iPad too while it’s standing up in the Mika.  There’s a sturdy feel and touching the screen doesn’t make the iPad wobble or move at all.

The Mika Stand works just as well as a laptop stand too and is perfect for those individuals who use their laptop computers along side a monitor.

The best part about the BlueLounge Mika Stand is the fact that it can be a “forever stand.”  No matter what device you own, iPad, Android Tablet, Laptop etc. the Mika Stand can likely accomodate it.  Whether it’s now or in the future the Mika Stand is indeed a single stand that handles them all.
