The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Now Available On PSVR

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is available for purchase to owners of the PlayStation VR headset as of today, Sony has confirmed in a blog post. Developed by studio Skydance Interactive, the game is a first-person shooter promising some rather terrifying action due to the immersive nature of the medium at hand. Its developers say they have paid special attention to a realistic physics system that will hopefully make the game all the more immersive, but also challenging to be successful at.

What that means in practical terms is that dispatching even just a single zombie won’t be as easy as pressing a button or aiming and then pressing a button. Instead, expect to be required to use real force to shiv a walker into oblivion, for example. The setting of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a post-apocalyptic New Orleans which promises some unique visuals seeing how this locale hasn’t really been explored to a great extent by past TWD adventures, whether interactive or otherwise.

The game has already been available to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headset owners since early this year, as Skydance Interactive originally released it on PC via Valve’s Steam store. All ports of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners are priced at $39.99 in the United States.
