Nikon Sweeps EISA Awards 2020-2021 With 4 Winners

Nikon has recently emerged as arguably the biggest winner at the latest, 2020-2021 edition of the prestigious EISA Awards. The company swooped the award ceremony by securing no fewer than four titles across a number of varied categories.

In a press release published earlier today, Nikon described this success as testament to its continued innovation over many categories of photography products and solutions aimed at both professionals and enthusiasts alike. The winning products in question were the Nikon D780 DSLR camera which was named the best full-frame camera of the season, the Nikon Z 50 mirrorless camera which got the Best Buy Camera award, the newest NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8 superzoom/telephoto lens hybrid which was honored with the best pro telephoto award, and the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S which is going home with the title of the best portrait lens of the season.

Quite a haul for Nikon, especially seeing how it also includes the Nikon Z 50, a camera that caters to both enthusiasts and professionals alike, albeit with a stronger focus on the former. Still, having such universally appealing products has always been the key to sustained success across the photography camera market, so Nikon’s near-term prospects are certainly looking pretty good and these EISA Awards underline that fact quite nicely.
