Logitech Swytch Simplifies Teleconferencing Tech To A Single USB Port

Mundane enterprise-leven tech such as group teleconferencing setups may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Logitech. But that does not mean the company’s is not serious about seizing a meatier chunk of the growing B2B market, especially in light of the circumstances that emerged over the course of this year.

Cue the company’s announcement of the Logitech Swytch platform which happened earlier today. Much like that stylized name already implies, we are looking at an add-on of sorts devised to operate alongside Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms. Why? Well, for the simple reason that even something as mundane as teleconferencing apps can be a real pain to set up.

That is where Logitech Swytch comes into play, promising to streamline even the most robust of video conferencing platforms down to a single USB port. Which is as plug-and-play as a product can get, so definitely not a bad sales pitch. The enhancement will go on sale across the United States in the second half of August, with its recommended retail pricing sitting at $999.

Of course, you can probably count on a discount or two if you ring Logitech with an intent to place a bulk order.
