The monitor stays in place without any movement, but it is easy to adjust the height, screen distance, and all angles, except the vertical tilt, which requires loosening the Allen key bolt to make those adjustments.

The VESA support of 75×75, 100×100, 100×200, 200×100, 200×200, streamlines the setup process. Attach the VESA plate, mount the arm, and hang your monitor. The built-in cable management system helps keep your workspace tidy and organized, minimizing clutter and maximizing efficiency.
The directions are clear and well-explained through images and text. All required tools are included, and all screws are clearly marked on the packages. You have two desk-mounting options: a clamp and a grommet. The clamp option is the simplest and quickest option for desks up to 1.97″ thick. The directions clearly show how to assemble the base with either choice. Just note that the grommet option requires drilling a hole in your desk to a relatively precise measurement.
The arm is assembled by just pressing the two arm pieces together and tightening the screw to hold them in place. Once done, you can attach the monitor to the VESA. The ARES WING (GDT1010 V2) offers multiple VESA options, and all of the hardware is included. Attach the mount with one screw, then attach the VESA mounting option to the back of the monitor.
I found it easier to mount the arm on the desk first and then place the monitor on it. I suppose you could do it either way, but trying to hold the monitor up while attaching it would most likely end in disaster.
Once everything is attached, you can easily adjust the monitor’s height, screen distance, and angles.
