With over 12 billion electric miles driven worldwide, Nissan has long been a pioneer in the electric vehicle (EV) market, and the LEAF is set to continue that legacy as an electric legend. With advancements in technology and design, the all-electric 2025 LEAF promises to revolutionize how we think about sustainable transportation.
Introducing the 2025 Nissan LEAF
The 2025 Nissan LEAF is a stunning example of Nissan’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. With a sleek and aerodynamic design, the LEAF looks great and offers excellent performance. The spacious interior provides seating for up to five, with enough space for friends, family, pets, cargo, and much more.
With its flexible 30 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear seats are folded down, the LEAF can carry more cargo, such as bikes and luggage, for more flexibility while on a road trip or vacation.
Unveiling the Next Generation Electric Vehicle
The all-electric 2025 Nissan LEAF represents the next generation of electric vehicles, setting new standards for efficiency and eco-friendliness. Feel the rush of the instant torque and unleash the full power of the LEAF’s 100% electric drivetrain every time you hit the accelerator. With 100% electric driving, not a drop of gasoline, and zero tailpipe emissions, you get pure performance and pure thrill that’s also eco-friendly.
The LEAF offers a seamless driving experience with tech features like advanced driver-assistance systems and connectivity options. The futuristic design of the 2025 LEAF is a testament to Nissan’s vision for the future of transportation.
The LEAF is perfect for a road trip, with up to 212 miles (LEAF SV PLUS) of EPA-estimated range for combined city/highway driving and quick and easy charging. You can get even more in Eco Mode, which converts braking energy into a charge for your battery.
Two Battery and Three Charging Options
The LEAF offers a 40kWh battery in the Nissan LEAF and a 60kWh battery in the Nissan LEAF SV PLUS. The 40kWh battery delivers instant acceleration and up to 149 EPA-estimated miles on a single charge, while the 60kWh battery in the SV PLUS has up to 212 EPA-estimated miles per charge.
The Nissan LEAF has a 6.6 kW onboard charger and Quick Charge port to support a CHAdeMO connection. Just plug it in, and the LEAF will let you know you’re connected with a quick beep. There are nearly 5,000 CHAdeMO stations nationwide, so you have an impressive number of locations to charge the LEAF. When using the 50 kW Quick Charge port, a 40 kWh battery can be charged to 80% in 40 minutes, while a 60 kWh battery can be charged to 80% in 60 minutes.
You can also use the most convenient at-home charging option: a 240-V outlet (Level 2) with a portable charge cable. It will take 7.5 hours to fully charge a 40 kWh battery and 11 hours for a 60 kWh battery. However, the Nissan LEAF also features a standard 120-V portable charge cable that will allow a standard 120-V outlet for a Level 1 charge.
Cutting-edge Features of the 2025 LEAF
The 2025 Nissan LEAF is packed with cutting-edge features that set it apart from other electric vehicles. Its suite of six standard safety features, Nissan Safety Shield® 360, ensures that you will feel safe while on the road.
What is Nissan Safety Shield® 360?
- Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
- Rear Automatic Braking
- Blind Spot Warning
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Lane Departure Warning
- High Beam Assist
The Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors the speed and distance between the LEAF and the car ahead and warns you if you need to slow down. It can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a front collision or lessen the severity of an impact. It can also detect a pedestrian in the crosswalk and automatically engage the brakes.
The Rear Automatic Braking detects something behind the vehicle. It can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity if the vehicle fails to stop.
The Blind Spot Warning, along with the Rear Cross Traffic Alert, helps keep an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.
The Lane Departure Warning helps ensure that lane changes are done only when you mean to. If the system detects that you are drifting over, haptic feedback on the steering wheel can let you know.
The High Beam Assist can automatically deactivate the 2025 Nissan LEAF’s high beams if it detects an oncoming vehicle. The system can reactivate the high beams once the oncoming vehicle has passed.
The NissanConnect® EV & Services App
Designed exclusively for Nissan LEAF, the available NissanConnect® EV & Services app, powered by SiriusXM, allows users to lock the doors, sound the horn, flash the headlights, and turn on the climate control from a compatible smartphone.
The LEAF is equipped with Apple CarPlay® and Siri® voice control. Apple CarPlay® brings your contacts, favorite messaging apps, Apple Music® playlists, Apple Maps, and more to your Nissan LEAF by using your compatible iPhone®. But it’s not limited to iPhone; it also has Android Auto™ compatibility. You can talk to Google Assistant on Android Auto™ and get things done with your voice. Easily send messages, get directions, control media, and more. Just say, “Hey, Google,” or long-press the voice control button on your steering wheel to get started.
As the automotive industry continues to shift towards sustainable solutions, the Nissan LEAF stands out as a frontrunner in eco-friendly transportation. With zero emissions, the LEAF is paving the way for a greener future. With its advanced features and eco-friendly design, the 2025 Nissan LEAF will leave a lasting impact on the automotive industry and inspire a new generation of electric vehicle enthusiasts.
