New Razer Book 13 Pairs Productivity With Portability

There is a new variant of the Razer Book 13 to gawk at – one that is all geared up for 2020 and beyond. This year’s edition of the ultrabook workstation is still simply called the Razer Book 13, but comes with improved specs and chasis.

Announced earlier today, the Razer Book 13 is made out of a single block of aluminum using a technique that promises to maximize both durability and portability. A white mercury finish gives it a pretty premium look, not to mention some added resistance against minor mechanical damage. In simpler terms, that primarily means you probably won’t have to worry about tiny scratches ruining your expensive piece of computing hardware.

As for how expensive we’re talking about here, the Razer Book 13 (2020) will start at $1,199.99 in the U.S. That’s for the most basic model using one of Intel’s Core i5 CPUs. An Intel Core i7 configuration, meanwhile, will sell for $1,599.99 and above. Both are planned to be released in the U.S. this November. Funnily enough,if there’s a need for a credit card, Razer has you covered there as well.

Minor delays are also a possibility, given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding pretty much all tech supply chains in the world. Pre-orders are expected to become available by early fall.
