Dell Launches World’s First Pro-Grade 2K Mini-LED Monitors

Dell has just taken the wraps off its newest UltraSharp Monitors, a product range that happens to deliver history’s first professional-grade Mini-LED monitors with 2K/QHD/1440p resolution support. The said technology powers zonal backlighting that raises the quality bar for such professional monitors in terms of contrast and color accuracy.

A built-in low blue light filter is part of the proposition as well, with this particular trait recently profiling itself into one of the main selling points of Dell’s PC monitors. The American electronics corporation says it has specifically designed these UltraSharp Monitors with home offices and remote collaborations in mind. To that effect, the displays are fully integrated into the OptiPlex 7080 Micro ecosystem, powering group teleconferencing on Windows 10 machines.

Best of all, no setup is required, and the monitors are pre-calibrated for accuracy out of the box (or should be for nearly every machine, save for a few highly specialized rigs). The UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor Monitor is the flagship offering of the family, which will be released in the U.S. on November 5th, priced at $4,999. The rest of the range is significantly more affordable, with the UltraSharp 24 USB-C Hub Monitor (U2421E) and UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor (U3421WE) being planned to retail at $449.99 and $1,199.99, respectively.

The smaller display is already available for purchase in the U.S. and abroad but the 34-inch one is only slated to be released stateside on December 1st.
