Razer Wins ‘Best of CES’ Awards For Eighth Year In A Row

Gaming-focused consumer electronics maker Razer now has even more awards from the Consumer Electronics Show to its name. Following the latest, 2020 edition of CES, the company added two such top honors to its already packed trophy gallery. “Top,” as in: “belonging to the ‘Best of CES’ category,” to be exact.

Because this year’s Las Vegas show yielded many more smaller awards to Razer gear. But the spotlight belongs to Engadget’s Best Gaming Product and People’s Choice Award, both of which were given to the Razer Kishi Universal Mobile Gaming Controller. The Kishi will be available this spring at a price point that has yet to be specified by Razer. The gadget was honored with five other Best of CES awards from the likes of Android Headlines and Pocket-lint.

The Razer Sila 5G Home Router received two such honors, whereas the Razer Tomahawk Gaming Desktop accumulated a handful of top honors of its own. All in all, this CES appears to be hinting at a strong year for Razer, at least from the standpoint of product design and innovation.

Being a luxury brand, it remains to be seen what kind of sales numbers Razer is expecting to hit before branding any of these devices as commercial success stories.
