Motorola Razr 5G Foldable Arrives To The U.S.

The Motorola Razr 5G is a reimagining of the iconic Motorola Razr from way back when, one that even works with the currently expanding 5G networks across the United States, as its name reveals. This reboot of sorts is centered on the fact that foldable displays are now a thing, so it turns the classic Razr look into a single piece of bendable glass.

As if that unique selling point is not good enough on its own, the Motorola Razr 5G also happens to be the most affordable foldable released anywhere on the planet to date. Of course, this is still some highly advanced tech that is on offer, so the price tag attached to the device is not exactly cheap – it stands at $1,199, to be exact. Though Lenovo’s Motorola officially started selling the Razr 5G today, it will only start fulfilling first order shipments on October 2nd.

Which gives you a few days to make a purchase decision, if you are concerned about shortages. And those are not out of the question, even though the device itself almost certainly won’t hit any best-selling charts. But that is on this year, on the whole, not Motorola itself. Note that the Razr 5G also avoids the Moto branding which is in wider use by the company these days, probably in an effort to stay as close to the original Motorola Razr as possible.
