The Walking Dead season 10 finale returns on October 4th

The Walking Dead season 10 finale, episode 16, “A Certain Doom”, will air on Sunday, October 4th on AMC at 9 p.m. The finale was originally set to air on April 12th, but due to production difficulties due to COVID-19 it was delayed.

Lauren Cohan’s character Maggie Rhee, will also return in the finale and will be a series regular again in season 11. “She’s coming back,” Cohan said during the show’s Comic-Con@Home panel.

It has also been reported that six extra season 10 episodes have been created and will be run in 2021. They will air in early 2021 before season 11 will airs if things go as planned.

Unfortunately, this will be Danai Gurira’s final season as Michonne. Normal Reedus as Daryl and Melissa McBride as Carol will continue as the forefront of the show. Cailey Fleming (Judith), Cassady McClincy (Lydia), Lauren Ridloff (Connie), Eleanor Matsuura (Yumiko), Nadia Hilker (Magna), Ryan Hurst (Beta), and Cooper Andrews (Jerry) have been promoted to series regulars.

On October 11, Fear the Walking Dead will return for its “anthology” season 6 alongside the new series The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
