We gave the 7.5-inch scissors a try on a Maine Coon breed of cat. Cats are always challenging, but we could trim the hair away with pretty decent precision without worrying about getting too close to the skin. The finger holes are large enough and comfortable, and the smooth stainless steel is very nice.
They were sharp right out of the box and worked well on my cat. Next, I tried it on my Yorkie. The hair around the eyes, nose, and feet is always a huge pain to cut and look halfway decent. The curved design worked well in all areas, and for once, I could get around the eyes quickly enough before he started acting up. The cut was very good, although I did not cut large amounts of hair at one time.
