Surface Laptop 3, Pro 7 Now Available To Buy In The U.S.

Microsoft’s newest ultra-premium portable computers are now available to buy throughout North America. We are, of course, talking about the Surface Laptop 3 and Surface Pro 7, a pair of devices that aim to deliver a no-compromise combination of portability and raw power.

It goes without saying the Surface Laptop 3 is the higher-performing among the two, though the difference is surprisingly small and actually keeps getting smaller with every new generation of the Surface family. Looking at the Surface Pro 7 and the Surface Laptop 3, in particular, the main distinction is the latter’s ability to better sustain peak performance, especially during gaming sessions.

The gadgets use Intel’s 10th-generation CPUs and start at $749 and $799, respectively. Which is much lower than most previous iterations of this hardware, but naturally, those entry-level prices won’t net you flagship components. If you are searching for maximum power, expect to pay as much as three times those figures for either device.

This means that ordering directly from Microsoft is probably the smartest play here, especially with the end of the year already approaching and all of us hoping for some nice price cuts just in time for the holiday season.
