Lenovo just announced yet another expansion of its iconic Yoga family, this time on the Chrome OS side of the market. More specifically, we’re looking at the 2020 edition of the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook Enterprise, a highly capable workstation meant to support a variety of intenstive workflows.
But with a stronger focus on cloud apps, of course, as is to be expected from any Chromebook, least of all one aiming to compete in the golden mean of the market. To be more specific, the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook is planned to debut in the United States at a competitive $579 price point, which should make it well-positioned to challenge numerous high-profile brands such as Samsung, Dell, and ASUS.
Expect pre-orders to open across both the U.S. and Canada in a matter of days. Specific shipping dates will naturally be at least somewhat dependant on your exact coordinates but by all accounts, anyone keen on getting their hands on one of these ThinkPad C13 Yogas should be able to do so no later than early November. The lineup uses the AMD Ryzen 7 3700C CPU and a 13.3-inch FHD display with stylus support.
Curiously, Lenovo said it might be willing to fulfill a small number of custom orders demanding this same configuration with a 4K OLED screen, which would be a pretty unique thing across any price range, least of all this value-oriented one. But you probably shouldn’t count on that being a certainty.
