ASUS Unveils ZenFone 7, Its Latest US-Bound Flagship

ASUS today took the wraps off the ZenFone 7 series, its latest range of high-end Android flagships that will be available for purchase in the United States this fall. The lineup consists of the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro, a pair of devices more similar than not.

Their main selling point is arguably the 64-megapixel camera sitting at the heart of their rear camera setup, and utilizing Sony’s latest IMX686 sensor, as well as a high-quality wide-angle lens. Another triple-lens system can be found on the front, so versatility appears to have been ASUS’s number one concern while it was designing this Android flagship duo. 8K video recording support and directional audio are part of this powerful image capture setup, as well, and the ZenFone 7 Pro even comes with optical image stabilization.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display barely leaves a trace of bezels and even supports the HDR10+ standard, thus offering the most accurate color reproduction on any ASUS mobile device to date. Paired with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery with quick charging support, the ZenFone 7 series leaves little to be desired. Apart from, perhaps, some official pricing information which are yet to be shared by the Taiwanese manufacturer.
