Newer Technology NuTouch Gloves Review

Winter is coming. If you are familiar with the television series Game of Thrones (if you’re not, you should be), you know that it’s going to be cold soon. That means you’re going to have to start wearing warmer clothes, including gloves. Traditionally, the problem with wearing gloves is that it made using your touchscreen devices difficult. Fear no more, however, because Newer Technology has a solution for you: the NuTouch Gloves.

Read on for my review.

The NuTouch Gloves are made of a soft cotton mix, and are extremely comfortable to wear. They’re flexible, form-fitting, and come in four different sizes: small, medium, large, and extra-large.

Newer Technology chose to manufacture the NuTouch Gloves in one color: classic charcoal. This was an extremely smart move in my opinion, as charcoal compliments any attire you’d wear: from professional to casual. Moreover, you could wear them by themselves, or as lines to heavier gloves (although you’d lose the conductive functionality).

In my use of the NuTouch Gloves, they’ve been nothing short of great. I was immediately attracted to the color and fit. They are extremely comfortable, just like Newer Technology advocates. The figertips have conductive fiber woven into each fingertip, and it works brilliantly. I was wholeheartedly surprised at how accurate I could type with the gloves on. If I made any mistakes at all, iOS’s autocorrect was intelligent enough to fix any sort of misspelling that occurred.

These gloves certainly aren’t going to save your hands from severely cold weather, but they help a lot. Idaho gets decently cold in the winter, with temperatures often in the single digits, and I feel confident that the NuTouch Gloves will save my hands from getting too chilled this winter. I’d definitely recommend that you check them out on Other World Computing for the rock-solid price of $9.00.

MSRP: $9.00

Pros: Conductive fiber works fantastically, comfortable, attractive color.

Cons: Won’t save your hands from severely cold weather.
